Enhancing educational opportunities and improving learning outcomes
Here are some of the areas we focus on under the Education sector as one of our Thematic areas
School Construction and Renovation
EI Malawi supports the construction and renovation of school buildings, including classrooms, libraries, and sanitation facilities for a conducive learning environment for students
Provision of Educational Materials
We provide essential educational materials such as textbooks, notebooks, writing materials, and school uniforms to students to ensures students have the necessary resources to participate effectively in their education
Early Childhood Education
We place emphasis on early childhood education by establishing and supporting pre-primary schools to prepare young children for primary education and helps them develop foundational skills
School Feeding Programs
We also run school feeding programs to ensure that students receive at least one nutritious meal per day to improve students’ health and concentration and encourage regular school attendance
Community Engagement and Advocacy
We engage with communities to raise awareness about the importance of education and to encourage parental and community involvement in schools.
Extracurricular Activities
EI Malawi supports extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, and cultural events as these activities contribute to the holistic development of students and encourage their engagement in school
