EI Malawi in Agriculture

We are involved in various agricultural activities aimed at improving food security, increasing agricultural productivity, and enhancing the livelihoods of rural communities.

We Offer our expertise in the Agricultural Sector to Communities

Through the initiatives highlighted here, Emmanuel International Malawi aims to improve the overall food security and economic well-being of rural communities in Malawi

Together, we will eliminate hunger and food insecurity in Malawi

Here are some of the areas we focus on under the agricultural sector as one of our Thematic areas

Sustainable Agriculture Training

we provide training to farmers on sustainable agricultural practices including teaching techniques such as crop rotation, inter-cropping, and conservation agriculture to improve soil health and increase crop yields

Irrigation Projects

We implement irrigation projects to ensure that farmers have access to water during dry periods so as to mitigate the effects of drought and enables farmers to produce crops throughout the year.

Provision of Agricultural Inputs

we supply farmers with essential agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and tools at subsidized rates or through microfinance programs to make them affordable for smallholder farmers

Nutrition Education

we incorporate nutrition education into their agricultural programs to ensure that communities not only produce sufficient food but also understand the importance of a balanced diet and proper nutrition

Climate-Smart Agriculture

We promote climate-smart agricultural practices to help farmers adapt to changing climate conditions covering the introduction of drought-resistant crop varieties and practices that enhance water conservation

Farmer Field Schools

we have platform for farmers to learn from each other and from agricultural experts, focusing on practical, hands-on training in the field, covering various aspects of crop and livestock production
